The Bold Gill Topwater Lure is action packed which offers sputtering and slashing on the surface to help simulate a struggling fish. If you are looking for explosive reaction strikes then this custom painted topwater lure is for you. This is yet another airbrushed original concept pattern developed by master custom lure painter Jason Collins in what has benn dubbed “Bold Gill” whereas that’s exactly what this particular bait/pattern represents. The loud, yet subtle chartreuse bottom layer builds up with some nasty crackled underlying patterns that meet with the iconic striking vertical bluegill bars along the sides. An iridescent light blue hue has elegantly been highlighted along the cheeks that pair up with contrasting and color shifting holographic-like eyes that really make this gem of a lure POP! A vibrant orange is added to the throat to bring the entire pattern in and together for one amazing, bass busting topwater plug that is sure to invoke some of the most vicious, heart pounding big fish blowups that we so highly anticipate and love witness!
